Government of India has approved the Financial Assistance Policy for Indian Shipyards on 9th December 2015 for grant of financial assistance to Indian Shipyards for shipbuilding contracts signed between April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2026.
This online portal has been set up by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and waterways, Government of India, for facilitating the submission of applications by Indian shipyards for this Financial Assistance Scheme. Shipyards may use this portal for registration, submission of applications for in-principle approval, uploading of necessary documents etc.
The Government of India has approved the Shipbuilding Financial Assistance Scheme to provide financial support to Indian shipyards for eligible shipbuilding contracts signed between September 24, 2025 and March 31, 2036.
This online portal has been developed by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways to streamline and facilitate the submission of applications under the scheme. Through this system, shipyards can register, apply for in-principle approval, upload required documents, track application status, and complete other related activities in a transparent and efficient manner.
